Procyclidine is a prescription medicine used to treat the symptoms of Parkinson's disease and movement disorders caused by antipsychotic medications.1 Procyclidine works by preventing the muscles from tightening suddenly.2 It does so by helping to maintain a normal balance of chemicals in the nervous system.3
