Research Notes on Primidone
Primidone is commonly known by the name Mysoline. The active substances produced by metabolism of primidone are phenobarbital and phenylmethylmalonamide (PEMA), both which have anticonvulsant and sedative properties. Unlike other anti-convulsants, it is rarely used in the treatment of a bipolar disorder.
