Presbyopia is the inability of the eyes to focus, thus making it hard to see objects at close range. Contact lenses and eyeglasses are some of the treatment options for presbyopia. There are different types of contact lenses for presbyopia, these are contact lenses for distance or near vision with glasses for near or distance reading, monovision contact lenses where the prescription is only for the affected eye, hard and soft bifocal contact lenses where the prescription is for both affected eyes, and modified monovision contact lenses.
