Research Notes on Postpartum Psychosis
Postpartum psychosis (PPS) is an extremely severe form of postpartum depression. It is characterized by homicidal and suicidal impulses, hallucinations, delusions, disorganized and bizarre thinking. If postpartum psychosis is suspected, a medical professional should be contacted immediately.
