The culinary name of the meat from a pig is pork. Pork is prepared and eaten in many different forms all over the world.1 Pork is a source of high-quality protein, vitamin B12, iron, potassium, riboflavin and other important nutrients. Pork is considered a healthy, lean choice for meals.2
