Plavix is a brand name for the drug clopidogrel. This drug is prescribed to help prevent the formation of blood clots in people who have had a recent a stroke or heart attack. It is also used in some disorders of the heart or blood vessels.1 For complete information, see the clopidogrel WisdomCard.
