Research Notes on Plaque Psoriasis Causes
According to research, plaque psoriasis is most often caused from an immune system disorder. Plaque psoriasis is also most commonly caused by over-active T-cells which can cause skin cells to grow faster than normal.1 Other causes of plaque psoriasis include stress, infections, sunburn, cold weather, and certain medications.2

- Plaque psoriasis is the most common form of psoriasis, affecting nearly eighty percent of patients.4
