The common plantain is considered a weed by some and a miracle plant by others. It is used as an antidote to poisons, to treat fevers, ease asthma symptoms and slows excessive menstrual bleeding.1 It is also used to dry mucus secretions associated with the colds, hay fever, and asthma.1
