Research Notes on Pityriasis Rosea

Pityriasis Rosea is a rash commonly seen in teens and children. The cause is not known but may be caused by a virus. One singular "herald" patch may develop between 1 to 20 days before many smaller patches of rash. These patches often form a pattern on the back resembling the outline of a fir tree with dropping branches.
