Research Notes on Pimozide
Pimozide is an antipsychotic drug that was discovered in 1963.1 Pimozide has been used to treat chronic schizophrenia and to control the tics caused by Tourette's syndrome.2 Pimozide is used when other treatments for the tics caused by Tourette's have failed.3
