Photosensitivity is sensitivity to sunlight. Photosensitivity can occur for a number of reasons including reactions to certain medication or as part of pre-existing conditions such as Lupus. Prevention is important and includes wearing sun protective clothing, minimizing sun exposure and using sunscreen.
