Pancreatic cancer is a genetic disease, which means it is caused by changes or mutations in genes.1 However, certain factors increases the risk of developing the disease. Studies show that smoking, age, diet, and race are some these.2 Treatments are focused on the prevention of growth and elimination of the cancer.3
