Research Notes on Birth Control and PMDD
Birth control pills have been used to treat the symptoms of PMDD.1 Yaz birth control which is also known as Yasmin, is often the most used for this kind of treatment. Yaz is about as effective as serotonin reuptake inhibitors for treating PMDD.2 PMDD is usually confused with PMS but is more severe.3
