Ozark Health initially started as the Van Buren County Hospital in 1950. It was the first hospital in the County with 12-bed capacity. Funding from several local and national organizations have aided the hospital for its vast growth and expansion seen today.1 From a 12-bed capacity, it went on to a 137-bed capacity and acquired state-of-the-art facilities for excellent patient care.1 2
