Research Notes on Ovarian Cancer
Ovarian cancer is a cancer of one, or both, of a women's ovaries. There are three different types of tissue in the ovaries, all of which may be affected by a type of ovarian cancer. Tumors in the ovary are generally named for the tissue cells where the tumor started.1
