The Process: Get Started as an OrganizedWisdom Guide
1. Apply to become a Guide and create your account.
- Note: We cannot process applications with incomplete information.
- If you are a physician applying to be a Physician Reviewer, start here instead.
2. Activate your account by clicking on the confirmation email sent to the account you registered with.
3. You WILL NOT be able to claim a WisdomCard for creation until you get a welcome e-mail indicating that you have access to start work. We review Guide applications once a month, at the end of the month. In the meantime, we hope you can take some time to explore the OrganizedWisdom site and become familiar with our product. Also, you may wish to read and familiarize yourself the following training materials:
4. Once you have received your welcome e-mail and have read the training materials, select your first WisdomCard from the following Most Wanted List.
5. Create your WisdomCard and submit it to the review team when ready. To submit your WisdomCard you simply click the Submit button on the WisdomCard template after you have saved all of your work. WisdomCards will be reviewed each Friday.
6. Our Editors and Physician Reviewers will review your WisdomCard. Your WisdomCard will be reviewed within 7-10 days. Your goal is to submit a WisdomCard that matches the formatting and quality of our published cards. If you're not quite there yet, our reviewers will return your card for changes. You may be asked to review the site and the instructions, or respond to specific feedback and make changes before resubmitting. We reserve the right to suspend you as a Guide if you fail to get a page accepted after submitting it three times.
After your first WisdomCard has been approved you may select up to 5 WisdomCard topics at a time from the Most Wanted List.
7. We pay Guides and Reviewers for each accepted WisdomCard. Payments are sent via direct deposit once per month. YOUR FIRST PAYMENT WILL BE PROCESSED AFTER YOU HAVE CREATED 10 APPROVED WISDOMCARDS.
8. You can monitor the status of each of your WisdomCards by checking your personal Dashboard located on your profile page.
