OrganizedWisdom is Hiring Advertising Operations Manager (Part Time and Full Time)
OrganizedWisdom Health is the world's first human-powered, physician-guided search service for health. We're a venture-backed company founded by experienced entrepreneurs looking for an outstanding Advertising and Sponsorship Operations Manager to join our team (part-time and full-time position available). This person will work with Sales and Product teams will be responsible for campaign management, exceeding clients' performance goals and customer service expectations. The Ad Ops Manager will also be responsible for working on special projects including but not limited too new product roll out, tag maintenance and creation via Google Ad Manager. This is a multi faceted position that requires a commitment to excellence and attention to detail.

Key Requirements:
- At least 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in online ad operations for a large online publisher, network, media company or advertising agency, preferably in Health sector.
- Superior knowledge of the online advertising industry best practices, trends, technologies and pricing models; marketing and sales concepts; sales order processing; accounting and finance processes and concepts, including revenue and billing.
- Experience with one or more internal ad management and sales management applications (e.g., Google AdManager, DoubleClick DART, 24/7 Real Media, OpenAdStream, Right Media etc.). Strong familiarly with Google AdManager preferred and industry standard knowledge of third party ad serving programs, including behavioral targeting and rich media vendors (Eyeblaster, Pointroll, etc) required.
- Thorough understanding of ad campaign metrics and analysis including; CPM, CPC, and CPA
- Ability to compile and analyze performance data and metrics; strong knowledge of spreadsheet software or Google Docs.
- Ability to make recommendations on pricing and optimizations to increase amount of revenue from each campaign. Ability to understand and impact the details that drive revenue performance on a daily basis
- Thorough understanding of the role of inventory and how to plan for sufficient levels of inventory relative to demand variability
- Strong technical background (Flash, HTML, iFrame/JavaScript, audio/video files, etc.)
- Solid verbal and written communication skills; planning and organization skills; and excellent time management skills
- Experience communicating with internal sales, clients and ad agencies
Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up, QA, manage and optimize campaigns in Google Ad Manager.
- Monitor campaign delivery, develop and implement strategies to improve campaign performance, increase revenue and meet advertiser objectives.
- Create and improve processes and implementations for increased advertiser value, retention and revenue optimization.
- Directly manage relationships with external system providers (such as Google, Salesforce, Ad Exchanges, Collective Media, Pubmatic, etc) solving any day-to-day issues and ensure we are receiving best value from our contract terms and working with industry leaders.
- Responsible for clients’ needs by analyzing data, preparing recommendations and performing optimizations to further increase success rate and future business.
- Advise and communicate with internal departments regarding advertising inventory, availability forecasting, campaign performance, and sell-thru reporting
- Work with sales management to develop sales and operational guidelines and identify best practices to promote greater operational efficiency and maximize revenue
- Provide analytical training (troubleshooting delivery issues, inventory management, understanding delivery priorities, optimization of campaigns, etc.) to sales and sales support.
- Develop creative specs, policies and requirements for ad products and ensure compliancy across all advertisers and revenue programs. Support creative/technical and targeting related inquiries by customers and vendors.
- Collaborate with sales and sales product development to develop and implement new ad packages, sponsorships, and ad products
- Work with product and marketing teams to refine new programs and products, and provide expertise regarding ads placements, targeting and revenue optimization.
- Documents workflow processes, systems, targeting schemas and implementation criteria and processes. Organize interdepartmental workflow to ensure that all elements are handled according to process/schedule
- Works with Sales to supply Finance with forecast and delivery reports and end of the month reporting for accurate and timely billing
