About the Physician Review Program
We provide credible, well-organized, physician-reviewed search results for the most popular health search terms and phrases. We weed out the clutter, redundant links, and index spam typically found in search engines. Our company mission is to organize the world’s best health wisdom, and we aim to reflect that in every one of our search results pages, or WisdomCards™. These WisdomCards™ should only include great links to the very best expert-created and user-generated online health content.
Our Guides search the Internet for the best information available and create the WisdomCards™. Once a WisdomCard™ is completed it is sent to an Editor who ensures that the card follows our guidelines.
As a physician reviewer, we hope you will help us ensure that these WisdomCards™ meet the highest standards. The goal of the physician review can be summarized by asking one important question: “Would I send my patients to this WisdomCard™?” If the answer is no, then the card needs more work. Please be very specific in telling us what you feel is wrong with the cards. For example, if there are important articles, websites, theories, or information missing, list them and we will add them to the WisdomCards™. If there is bad information on a card, list that too! We will make sure it gets removed. If the answer is yes, you would send a patient to this card, then we have all done our jobs and we can proudly publish the WisdomCard™. Remember, we are not writing any new information, just ensuring that our patients have access to what is already out there.
Please understand that these cards are meant to deliver comprehensive, unbiased information. We want to make it easy for all people, regardless of their educational level to navigate and understand the WisdomCards™. Therefore there should be a range of information from simple to sophisticated.
We want you to use your expertise and knowledge base to ensure that all pertinent information and relevant websites are included and presented in an organized fashion.
Your first WisdomCard™ will probably take a little while, but you will notice that as your experience increases you will be able to review them more quickly. Your mission here is simply to get familiar with the (very simple) process and the content we are trying to create.
