Research Notes on Oral Thrush Prevention
Good dental health and hygiene, frequently rinsing the mouth, and eating fresh-culture yogurt are ways adults can prevent oral thrush.1 Washing bottles and pacifiers daily, sanitizing objects that may come into contact with the baby's mouth, and breastfeeding are ways to prevent or lessen the likelihood of oral thrush in infants.2
