Research Notes on Online Ayurvedic Medication May Be Unsafe
Researchers have found that around one fifth of Ayurvedic medicines found online contain unsafe levels of mercury, arsenic and lead. 193 herbal medications were tested and 20.7% contained at least one of the metals. This greatly exceeds the standards for acceptable daily intake.
