According to most pregnancy statistics, about 20% of miscarriages occur during the 1st trimester of pregnancy. There is a 75% chance of miscarriage in weeks 1-2 of pregnancy, when you do not know you are pregnant. After 8 weeks, the risk miscarriage drops to about 5%.
