Research Notes on Ocular Tumors
Eye cancer occurs when cells in or around the eye grow abnormally and form a tumor. In 2007, an estimated 2,340 adults in the United States were diagnosed with primary intraocular cancer alone. The main goals in treating are to reduce the risk of the tumor spreading and to maintain the health and vision of the eye.
