Research Notes on Occupational Therapy for Multiple Sclerosis
Occupational therapy is a type of rehabilitation in which individuals with physical or mental disabilities receive care and instruction on how to become more independent and lead physically and mentally fulfilling lives. Individuals with multiple sclerosis can benefit from occupational therapy due to the disease's devastating effects, including muscle weakness and spasticity and vertigo.1 Occupational therapists can help by suggesting alternative strategies and devices which make life easier for these patients.
