Nightmares
This WisdomCard managed by: Tara Salamone
Nightmares are dreams that arouse an emotional response of distress, extreme anxiety, fear, or horror from the sleeper. It occurs during rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, usually in the latter part of sleep. Nightmares occur when stressful situations are experienced during the day. Watching scary movies and reading or listening to scary stories, especially right before going to bed, may also cause nightmares.
