Research Notes on Neuroleptics

Neuroleptics are also known as antipsychotic drugs employed in the treatment of psychosis as well as other psychiatric conditions. Neuroleptics may cause a wide range of side effects including tremors, hypotension, impotence, lethargy and seizures. Lower doses are currently being used, resulting to a decrease in the incidence of motor side effects and sedation.
