A neti pot looks like a small tea pot and is used to perform nasal irrigation. A solution of water and salt is put into the neti pot and is then poured through the nasal cavities. A neti pot is used to treat sinus problems and will help relieve congestion, facial pain, and facial pressure reducing the need for antibiotics or nasal sprays. It is also used to help with allergies, and to get rid of environmental irritants. The neti pot works by making mucus thinner and easier for the body to get rid of.1
