Nedocromil is both an ophthalmic solution and inhaler, with each form treating its own unique health condition. The inhalation form of Nedocromil is an anti-inflammatory, which works by preventing the release of substances within the body that cause inflammation. It is utilized to treat asthma attacks and other lung related issues. The opthalmologic form is an anti-allergic medication, inhibiting the processes in the body that cause allergic reactions. It's used for the treatment of eye symptoms, such as burning and inflammation.1
