Napping and Children

Research Notes on Napping and Children

Sleeping is vital for babies and young children. Nighttime rest isn't enough. Regular naps help them get the sleep they need. The best way for them to get the naps they need is to set a schedule and stick to the schedule as closely as possible. Napping is normally given up when the child is 3-4 years old.
