Research Notes on Mondini Malformation
Mondini malformation is a rare genetic disorder that causes hearing loss due to the incomplete formation of the cochlea. It is also known as Mondini syndrome and Mondini dysplasia. People suffering from this condition gradually lose their sense of hearing. In some cases, the loss can happen suddenly.
