Research Notes on Modafinil Dosage
The dosing regimen of modafinil prescribed by your physician will depend on a number of factors, such as the condition being treated, any other medical conditions from which you may suffer, and other medications you may be taking. In treating narcolepsy, most patients are advised to take 200 mg of modafinil in one dose, early in the day.1 Elderly patients, those with liver or kidney disease, or patients with Parkinson's disease or multiple sclerosis are generally recommended a lower dose of modafinil.2
