Research Notes on Microbiology
Microbiology is the study of very small organisms (microorganisms) that cannot be seen by the naked eye. This includes fungi, bacteria, certain algae and viruses. The study of microbiology includes branches such as immunology, virology, microbial genetics, mycology and others. A person who specializes in microbiology is called a microbiologist.
