Michael Jackson met Cherilyn Lee in January of 2009 through an acquaintance who suggested her medical services for his children.1 Lee is a licensed registered nurse and nurse practitioner who specializes in nutritional counseling in the State of California. She is fifty-six years old and attended Los Angeles Southwest College and Charles Drew University of Medicine and Sciences.2 Lee states Jackson often complained of insomnia and requested her assistance with the powerful sedative propofol. She constantly warned him of the potential side effects of propofol and that it may induce death.3 Jackson passed away on June 25, 2009.

  • Four days prior to Jackson's death, Lee states a staff member phoned her to inform her that he was cold on one side of his body and hot on the other side.4
  • Dr. John Dombrowski of the American Board of Anesthesiology states Jackson's hot and cold symptoms are consistent with administration of intravenous drugs.3
  • Propofol is the generic for Diprivan, a sedative that is administered intravenously.4
  • The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) notes an injection of Diprivan can induce hypnosis within forty seconds.4
