Although Michael Jackson's death is believed to be attributed to cardiac arrest, the King of Pop has been plagued by health concerns for many years. In 1984, the superstar suffered second and third degree burns to his scalp after a fireworks explosion during the filming of a Pepsi commercial. Jackson made several attempts to free himself from addictions to pain medications over the years, though family and friends fear the continued use led to his death.1

- Jackson collapsed in 1995 with physicians stating he became faint due to arrhythmia caused by dehydration.2
