The Los Angeles Coroner's Office announced the results of Michael Jackson's autopsy reports will be delayed pending toxicology reports. Neuropathology and pulmonary tests are being performed and could take between four to six weeks for final results.1 The autopsy began on June 26, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. EDT.2

- Paramedics were called to Michael Jackson's home at 12:26 p.m. on June 25, 2009.3 He was pronounced dead at 2:26 PDT on the same day.2
- Early reports suggested cardiac arrest was the cause of death.3
- Jackson's family requested a personal autopsy and believes prescription medications are a contributing cause to his death.3
