Preliminary results of Michael Jackson's autopsy may be reported as early as Friday, June 26, 2009, according to a spokesperson from the Los Angeles Coroner's Office.1 However, it is possible that the final verdict will not be known for six to eight weeks as doctors await the results of various toxicology reports.2 Michael Jackson died on June 25, 2009. He suffered a cardiac arrest. Other causes are as yet unknown. Michael Jackson may have suffered from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
