Methylphenidate (MPH) is used to treat ADD, ADHD and narcolepsy. Methylphenidate is a central nervous system stimulant. It affects chemicals in the brain and nerves that contribute to hyperactivity and impulse control.
Fast Facts:

- A once-daily extended release form is sold under the brand name Concerta.
