Research Notes on Methamphetamine Withdrawal
Methamphetamine is a strong stimulant drug. Withdawal occurs when methamphetamine use is reduced or stopped. Length and severity of withdrawal symptoms is related to how much and how often the methamphetamine was used. Withdrawal symptoms include fatigue, disturbed periods of sleep, intense hunger, anxiety, depression, psychotic reactions and irritability.1
