Research Notes on Metastatic Renal Cancer
Metastatic renal cancer is also known as renal cell carcinoma or RCC. It is the most common form of kidney cancer.1 Renal metastases are usually discovered during abdominal imaging.2
Fast Facts:
- It is resistant to radiation therapy and chemotherapy.1
- Some cases do respond to immunotherapy.1
- The most common signs or symptoms is blood in the urine, flank pain, and an abdominal mass.1
- It affects more than 3 in 10,000 people.1
