Research Notes on Melatonin Side Effects
Melatonin is a dietary supplement used to aid in restful sleep. Side effects may occur when using this supplement. Some of the side effects that may be caused by melatonin include daytime sleepiness, confusion, dizziness, nausea, headaches, low blood pressure, vomiting and abdominal pain. Nightmares, vivid dreams and sleepwalking also are possible side effects of melatonin.1See the melatonin WisdomCard.
