Research Notes on Melanoma On the Rise Among Young Women
A recent study finds that melanoma cases are on the rise among young women, while cases among men have slowed down. The study looked at over 20,000 melanoma cases in young adults from the age of 15 to 39. There was a 50 percent rise in the number annual cases from the year 1980 to 2004.
