Medication Allergies

A drug allergy is a reaction to a medication. The body’s immune system fights back by producing a allergic reaction. Normally, a drug allergy is mild, with symptoms subsiding within a few days from discontinuing the drug. Some of these symtoms are hives, eczema, breathing problems and fever. Some drug allergies can be very serious, causing anaphylaxis.
