Research Notes on Medicare Part C
Medicare is a United States government-sponsored national health insurance program for people age 65 and above. Included too are younger people who are eligible, like those with disabilities. Medicare Part C is a combination of Part A and Part B. The main difference of Medicare Part C with Part A and Part B is that the services are run by Medicare-approved private insurance companies. This set up provides Medicare members with lower insurance expenses with slightly broader coverage than regular Medicare.
