Research Notes on Mammography
Mammography is a procedure used to take special x-rays of the breasts. Mammograms are important, because they can show tumors or cysts long before you or your Dr. can feel them. Mammograms are recommended every year or two for women older than 40, or for women that have had symptoms of breast cancer, and for women that are at high risk for breast cancer.
