Research Notes on Lou Gehrig
Lou Gehrig also known as “The Iron Horse,” is a American baseball legend who set several major league records. He suffered from a rare neurologic disease called amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, which is known in the United States as “Lou Gehrig's disease.” He died on June 2, 1941 after a three year struggle with the disease.
