Lopressor side effects most commonly reported include tiredness, dizziness, depression, confusion, and diarrhea. More serious side effects include slow heartbeat, trouble breathing, or symptoms of an allergic reaction. If any of these more adverse reactions are noted, patients should inform a health care provider as soon as possible.1
