Long Island Jewish Medical Center is a part of the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System. LIJMC is a non-profit, tertiary care teaching hospital that is committed to patient care and community service. Health education programs are offered to the community at no charge throughout the year, and hospital staff members host health education programs at community centers such as senior centers, faith-based organizations, and schools.1
