Research Notes on Long-Term Use of Tramadol
Chronic use of tramadol (Ultram) may lead to tolerance, dependence and/or addiction. Abruptly stopping its use may cause severe withdrawal symptoms. Aside from these effects, Ultram is also said to cause rashes or hives as an allergic reaction to the drug or as an indicator of overdose.
