Research Notes on Latex Allergy
Latex allergy effects millions of people worldwide. Latex allergies, like all allergies, affect each individual in different ways. Some latex allergies can be slight, while others can be quite severe. It is thought that repeated exposure to latex may cause this allergy. Dentists, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers as well as workers are at the greatest risk for this allergy because of their constant exposure to latex products.
