Research Notes on Lamotrigine Dosage
The dosage of lamotrigine prescribed by a physician will vary depending on the condition being treated and several other factors. For treating epilepsy and other seizure disorders or bipolar disorder that is in remission, the typical starting dosage of lamotrigine is generally 100 mg taken daily, either at once or in divided doses. The dosage may be adjusted up to a maximum of 500 mg daily for adults.1
