Research Notes on Jogging
Jogging is an aerobic exercise that helps to strengthen the heart, lungs, muscles, and bones. It is recommended that a beginner start with a walking program and move up to jogging.1
Fast Facts:
- It is recommended that adults get at least 30 minutes of exercise daily.1
- You can burn about 340 calories in 30 minutes.2
- Be sure to have good shoes in order to prevent injury.3
